General Health/Well Child Checkups

Your child should have regularly scheduled well child checkups with a pediatrician. It’s important to monitor growth and development at various stages of a child’s life. At these visits height and weight are measured; and we can talk about any concerns you may have about health, behavior or development.

These are the visits at which your child should receive the recommended immunizations (please see our immunization section for more detailed information). We will also talk about issues specific to your child’s age and development and help you know what to expect as your child grows.
