Mackey Sugar Quinlan, MD, FAAP

I am a native of Shreveport. Although I left to attend Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, I was excited to come back home. Staying in Shreveport and being close to my family was important to me.

After medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center–Shreveport, I stayed here to complete my residency. I am a board-certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. It was an honor to join the practice of my own childhood pediatrician, the late Dr. Donald Mack.

When I am not working, I am usually running around after my kids at their many activities or volunteering at their school. We are also very involved in our church and enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
